This brand new carburettor choke pull off diaphragm is designed to suit Ford Maverick and Nissan Patrol GQ Y60 models fitted with the TB42 4.2L petrol engine. The choke pull off plays a critical role during cold starts by using engine vacuum to partially open the choke flap, preventing over fuelling and improving drivability as the engine warms up.

Common symptoms of a failed pull off diaphragm include hard starting, rough idle when cold, black smoke, or poor fuel economy. Replacing this unit helps restore proper choke operation and smooth cold start performance.
