This kickdown rod is used to connect the WW Stromberg two-barrel carburettor throttle linkage on a Holden 186S red motor to the 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. A must-have for correct operation of the downshift mechanism and maintaining proper throttle pressure in automatic-equipped 186S vehicles.
