  • Heat insulator block helps reduce heat transfer from the manifold to the carburettor for more stable fuel control.
  • A spacer can help reduce hot-start issues and fuel percolation in warm engine bays.
  • Supplied with gaskets as listed so you can install it cleanly during a service.

Carburettor heat soak is a common problem on older engines and tight engine bays, especially after a hot shut-down where fuel can boil in the bowl and cause hard restarting. An insulator block sits between the manifold and carb base to reduce heat transfer and can also add a small amount of plenum spacing. Confirm stud spacing and carb base type before ordering, then recheck linkage and bonnet clearance after installation.
