This carburettor heat insulator base plate is designed to sit between the carburettor and intake manifold on Toyota Y-series petrol engines. By limiting heat transfer from the manifold, it helps reduce fuel percolation, hot start issues, and inconsistent idle caused by heat soak.

Manufactured as a new aftermarket replacement, this insulator suits a wide range of 2Y, 3Y and 4Y carburettor applications commonly found in Hiace and Hilux petrol models.
