It supports a sealed float-chamber area, helping prevent fuel seepage and dirt entry at the cover interface during service or rebuilding.

MPN KW1TG identifies this replacement gasket. A damaged, hardened, compressed, or previously disturbed cover gasket can compromise sealing around the float chamber and top-cover passages. Replace it when removing the cover, servicing the float or needle valve, or completing a carburettor rebuild. This gasket is a sealing component rather than a jet or metering calibration part, so it does not directly alter main-circuit, progression, or enrichment settings; correct installation helps preserve the carburettor’s intended fuel-control environment.

This replacement part is suitable for carburettor service and restoration work where the original component is worn, damaged, or missing.

Reference/MPN KW1TG

Technical role: Top-cover gasket MPN KW1TG seals the joint between the cover and carburettor body on compatible Weber DG, DGV, and DGAV 32/36 carburettors.
